Collection & Recycling Arrangements for Revvity Customers in Spain

The WEEE and RoHS Directives were transposed in Spain in February 2005 by Royal Decree 208/2005 and the WEEE obligations came into force in each of the 19 Autonomous Regions of Spain on 13 August 2005. A draft Decree was published on 30 July 2014; this draft Decree replaced WEEE Decree (208/2005).

A revised draft Decree was sent to parliament on 5 January 2015 and was adopted as 110/2015 on 20 February 2015.

Under the Spanish Royal Decree 110/2015 on Electrical and Electronic Equipment and Management of its Waste, for electrical and electronic equipment that you buy from a producer after August 13th 2005, the producer is required to finance the collection, treatment, recycling and recovery once this equipment becomes waste (WEEE).

The producer is a member of a compliance scheme in Spain run by ‘Recyclia‘ which will handle the legal obligations for collecting and recycling WEEE via the European Advanced Recycling Network (EARN).

If you have waste electrical or electronic producer’s equipment that you wish to dispose of, EARN can arrange free take-back of your WEEE within Spain.

For further information or to arrange a WEEE collection, please contact EARN directly by email: office@earn-service.com

Please include your name, address and contact data such as telephone number and email, and details on the waste equipment (type of product, brand and total weight). Without this data, EARN won’t be able to process your request.

For small shipments (up to 30 kg) to the recycler via logistics provider of your own choice: https://b2btool.earn-service.com/revvity/parcelselect

For WEEE collection/transport (this will always involve a separate quote for transport/collection costs) of larger WEEE loads: https://b2btool.earn-service.com/revvity2/select

You must fill all requested fields and REFERENCE NUMBER will be assigned to your collection request.

Please keep your reference number – it can be needed for track your WEEE collection.

Any equipment likely to be contaminated MUST be certified as clean and free from contamination by following the recommended decontamination procedure prior to collection.
