Overview

The NEXTFLEX HT Agrigenomics Low-pass WGS Kit is a new, streamlined workflow compatible with Illumina and Element Biosciences platforms. With a wide input range, it is suitable for all kind of plant and animal samples and can be run either manually or in automated workstation. Performance of the libraries has been tested with samples homogenized and extracted with Revvity solutions.

  • Robust – fast and easy protocol
  • Wide input range – from 1 ng to 500 ng
  • PCR-free compatible workflow
  • High throughput – up to 1,536 UDI barcodes available

Additional product information

Low-pass whole genome sequencing (LP-WGS) followed by imputation is becoming the preferred method for genotyping among plant and animal breeders. LP-WGS can capture a much broader spectrum of genetic variation compared to SNP arrays and is not limited by a fixed content, speeding up the selection process and improving the reliability of predictions.  The high computational demands associated with processing and imputing LP-WGS data make it less accessible for many research programs and breeding initiatives.

Revvity and CURIO now deliver a comprehensive solution that includes reagents, automation, and analysis for your WGS data, tackling many of the main challenges encountered by breeders.

Once your sequencing data is received, CURIO generates results in minutes with just a single click. From initial research to large‐scale routine workflows, CURIO provides leading imputation analysis for both plant and animal breeders.

You can find more detailed information here on the Curio website.
