Importance of accurate cell counting for single cell sequencing platforms using the Cellometer K2 fluorescent viability cell counter

One of the most important cell preparation steps when performing single cell sequencing is cell counting and analysis for cell characterization. Traditionally, counting is performed manually by counting trypan blue (TB) stained cells in a hemacytometer using standard light microscopy. However, it is known this method is time-consuming and high operator variation, which can drastically affect the performance of single cell sequencing.
