To achieve high nucleic acid integrity, the chemagic™ instruments employ the use of rotating magnetizable steel rods that automate resuspension of M-PVA Magnetic Beads for gentle yet efficient extraction of nucleic acids. Utmost flexibility in sample volume range (50 µl – 18 ml) and throughput, together with fast run times, are achieved with the easily interchangeable 12-, 24- or 96-format chemagic Rod Heads of the chemagic 360 instrument and chemagic Prime™ instrument.

For low to medium throughput processing, the chemagic Prepito instrument enables up to 12 or 48 samples per run respectively with sample volumes of up to 1 ml.

Scale from low to high throughputs easily without the need for extensive experimental validation as all chemagic instruments rely on the same chemagic separation technology and established chemagic M-PVA Magnetic Bead and buffer chemistry.
