The LabChip™ RNA Assay Reagent Kit enables rapid purity, integrity, and stability analysis of RNA molecules between 100 and 6,000 nucleotides in size. It is compatible with the LabChip GXII Touch Protein Characterization System and the LabChip GX Touch Nucleic Acid Analyzer. The LabChip RNA Assay Reagent Kit contains enough reagent for 500 samples.

Key features
The LabChip™ RNA Assay Reagent Kit provides a fast and easy way to quantitate RNA samples ranging in size from 100 to 6,000 nucleotides. It is designed to be run on the LabChip GXII Touch Protein characterization system or the LabChip GX Touch nucleic acid analyzer using the DNA 5K / RNA / Charge Variant Assay LabChip.
The RNA Assay Reagent Kit saves time and money by automating steps for quantification and integrity analysis. This analysis provides RNA concentration and ribosomal ratios as an indicator of integrity from 96- or 384-well plates.
"In summary, all four CE-based methods have been thoroughly assessed and are suitable for characterizing purity, integrity, and stability of mRNA products. The optimal platform depends on intended use, [...] Revvity RNA Reagent Kit ... may be more appropriate for sample screening and other high-throughput applications."
- Mantri, P. (2024)
The LabChip system software automatically analyzes the data and determines fragment size and concentration using ladder and marker calibration standards. Digital data results are immediately available for review or reporting in virtual gel, electropherogram graph or table summary form.
